A restaurant in Ammon, Idaho, says it wants its stolen giant hamburger trophy returned, no questions asked — it will even throw in a reward.
T.G.I.Friday’s General Manager Tim Coleman said the trophy was discovered missing two days after the restaurant was awarded the prize by Idaho Falls Magazine, KIFI-TV, Idaho Falls, reported.
The restaurant has been awarded the prize for best hamburger three consecutive years, and this is not the first time the trophy was stolen, the newspaper said Tuesday.
In 2009 the giant hamburger was stolen, disappearing for six weeks until it was returned.
T.G.I.Friday’s said it would like the trophy returned, no questions asked, and it’s even throwing in a non-monetary reward.
Just bring it back. We will be more than willing to take it. Just throw it out the door. We will make sure we get it back. If someone wants to bring it in, we will give them a reward. We will give them one of our best hamburgers,” Coleman said.
