Limbacher, Tafel Earn 1st WCup Wins In Ski Cross

Andrea Limbacher earned her first World Cup victory on Saturday in a ski cross event.

The Austrian finished ahead of Ophelie David of France in the final to move into fourth in the overall standings. Alizee Baron of France was third.

David returned from injury after missing several races. She’s 49 points behind Sanna Luedi, who is injured and did not compete.

Canada’s Tristan Tafel also claimed a first World Cup victory by winning the men’s final, ahead of John Teller of the United States, with Christopher Del Bosco of Canada in third.

Tafel is 12th in the overall standings, with Brady Leman of Canada in the lead.
