If the House of Representatives passes Senate Amnesty Bill 744, the United States of America will be flooded with over 100 million immigrants within the next 37 years by 2050. (Source: US Population Projections by Fogel/Martin ; PEW Research Center; U.S. Census Bureau.) The consequences explode off the charts as to water shortages, energy exhaustion, resource depletion, lowered quality of life and degraded standard of living. If the bill passes, we face entrenched poverty by the millions, balkanization of America and horrific environmental breakdown that awaits future generations. Re: Long term consequences of passing Senate Amnesty Bill 744 “Comprehensive Immigration Bill”
Dear Senator _________________:
As written, Senate Amnesty Bill 744 will add a minimum of 33 million immigrants within the next 10 years. Ultimately, it will add 100 million immigrants via family reunification, progeny of immigrants and lottery visas by 2050—a scant 37 years from now.
Jumps total US from 316 million to 438 million by 2050. On to 625 million by 2095. (Source: US Population Projections by Fogel/Martin. PEW Research Center. U.S. Census Bureau.)
We already suffer 7 states with water shortages. We import 7 of 10 barrels of oil daily.
It will accelerate “carbon footprint” by 138 million more people since we hit 300 million back in October of 2007.
S744 results in the equivalent of adding one additional New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego, Dallas, San Jose, Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Austin, San Francisco, Columbus, Fort Worth, Charlotte, Detroit, El Paso, Memphis and Boston. Totally unsustainable.
Will dramatically create expanded poverty within America by the sheer numbers who cannot obtain jobs. We now feed 47 million Americans on food stamps. S744 will create more people with more illiteracy, which creates more entrenched poverty that we cannot solve.
The more extreme our numbers the more extreme our children’s consequences.
Enforce our current immigration laws internally by arresting, prosecuting and jailing employers of illegal aliens. It is evident that Congress and the past five presidents have not enforced our immigration laws with any dedication and there is no indication that we will enforce S744. Thus millions more will pour over our borders. Reduce all immigration to less than 100,000 annually instead of the 1.5 million this bill advocates.
If S744 passes, it will accelerate our national suicide as to environmental degradation, quality of life as we overload and overwhelm our cities beyond repair and it will degrade our standard of living because the more people injected into the economy, the lower the wages. We are creating an intractable poverty class now at 47 million Americans subsisting on food stamps, 13 million American children living below the poverty level, in places like Denver, Colorado, we see 71 percent of the children taking taxpayer-paid free breakfasts and lunches.
If S744 passes, the seven states now in water shortages will see an expanded 138 million more people in need of water that will not be there as to exhausted aquifers, rivers and drought.
If S744 passes, we face horrific energy problems with an added 138 million more people. Note Scarcity: Humanity’s Final Chapter by Chris Clugston We cannot continue our destruction of the natural world as to exhausted resources that run our society.
If S744 passes, it will accelerate global climate change from the added 138 million people that will be driving cars, smoke stacks, home heating and more.
If S744 passes, it will accelerate species extinction in the USA now at 250 annually. It will accelerate poisoning of our rivers, our air and our land with acid rain. It will create more gridlock than we can ever begin to solve.
If S744 passes, we can expect 33 million more people added to the USA within this decade, not counting their offspring or chain migration. The numbers skyrocket off the carts.
If S744 passes as it is, every added person to this country from out of this country causes 10 to 30 times more damage to the environment as to carbon footprint, ecological footprint and energy footprint. The consequences cannot be comprehended, but they explode beyond solving.
If S744 passes, that means every added person’s US “ecological footprint” equals 25.4 acres of wilderness must be destroyed to support that person, (Source: www.allspecies.org) If you multiply the expected 100 million immigrants by 2050, that equals 2.54 billion acres of wilderness destroyed to make up cities, roads, malls, housing tracks, farm acreage.
If S744 passes, we face trying to feed another 138 million Americans with Peak Oil diminishing our worldwide oil and we are already importing 7 of 10 barrels of oil daily in 2013. The costs of feeding and the possibility of not being able to feed such enormous numbers of mouths runs off the charts.

In a few words, S744 will destroy the fabric, viability and cohesiveness of America and it will totally destroy our environment, quality of life and standard of living. You pursue national suicide with this bill.
Stop doing it to our country and future generations,
