Evan Turner ignited Ohio State to a 12-2 game-opening run Wednesday and the No. 15 Buckeyes went on to defeat Florida State 77-64.

Turner scored 25 points and grabbed 25 rebounds. He was assisted by 22 points from Jon Diebler, who made 6-of-12 from 3-point range.

Ohio State (6-1) tacked on an 11-0 surge in the second half to break the game open.

Florida State (6-2) was led by Solomon Alabi with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

The Buckeyes have won all four meetings with Florida State, although they had not played since 1968. The Seminoles made just 2-of-16 3-point tries.
