Jimmy Kimmel denied a report claiming sportscaster Marv Albert and rapper 50 Cent got into a physical altercation backstage at Kimmel's Los Angeles chat show.
The New York Post said Kimmel shot down the rumor in an interview with ESPN's Bill Simmons.
"Someone from 50 Cent's camp wanted to use the phone in Marv Albert's empty dressing room," Kimmel said. "A security guard told the man he couldn't. Pushes were exchanged for three seconds, and the situation was resolved before Marv even got in the room. Marv had no idea what was happening or who was involved."
