Singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth is to take part in the unveiling of this year's holiday window display at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, organizers said.

Chenoweth starred in the Broadway musicals "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" and "Wicked." She also appeared in the TV series "The West Wing" and "Pushing Daisies." She can currently be seen in the Off -Broadway production of "Love, Loss, and What I Wore."

The performer is to join Steve Sadove, chairman and chief executive officer of Saks Fifth Avenue, and Kathleen Hall, general manager of Windows 7 marketing at Microsoft Corp., to light up the windows at 6:30 p.m. EST Monday.

"Saks Fifth Avenue is working with Microsoft to combine fashion and technology to deliver the ultimate holiday treat on Nov. 23 -- the sixth annual Snowflake Spectacular and iconic window unveiling at Saks Fifth Avenue's New York flagship," the department store chain said in a news release. "With Microsoft's latest version of its operating system, Windows 7, powering the holiday window displays, Saks is engaging customers young and old in a new way this holiday season."

"Saks believes the holidays are about magic and the excitement of creating memories. A trip to Saks during the holidays has long been a New York tradition and this year, our customers will be delighted by a new and interactive holiday experience, inspired by Saks and powered by Windows 7," Sadove said.
