Many reports over the last several months has indicated that the growth of the electronic cigarette has been tremendous for retailers of the product that special interest groups and the government love to hate.
The amount of growth has said to be over 300% in some months and public support has risen due to special interest getting caught in conflicts of interest from direct funding of pharmaceutical companies to these special interest groups that are on the offensive against the ever popular electronic cigarette.
Electronic cigarette manufacturers are still in court over the detainment of shipments from overseas by the Food and Drug association and companies are fighting back to make sure that the FDA gives a fair shake to the growing electronic cigarette companies that are doing business in the United States
"It is not regulation that we're frightened of" states Jeff Smith, who is an online retailer of electronic cigarettes, " It's just that it seems that the FDA is acting on the behalf of special interest and we want it to be treated fairly instead of being banned because of unwarranted fearmongering by special interest".
Mr. Smith is in hopes of being able to continue to market them to the smokers of the U.S. because he believes that they are a much better alternative to the worlds biggest killer, which is tobacco cigarettes.
