Seventy couples donned U.S. Civil War-era costumes and danced the Virginia reel in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the film "Gone with the Wind."
The event took place Friday in the Town Square of Marietta, Ga., Warner Home Video said.
In attendance were four original cast members -- Ann Rutherford, who played Carreen O'Hara; Mickey Kuhn, who played Beau Wilkes at age 7; Patrick Curtis, who played baby Beau Wilkes; and Greg Geise, who played infant Bonnie Blue Butler and infant Beau Wilkes.
Bill Dunaway, the mayor of Marietta, served as host of the celebration. Robert Osborne, Turner Classic Movies' prime time presenter, appeared as a special guest.
The event was topped off with the unveiling of a giant anniversary cake, which was a replica of the O'Hara estate, Tara, organizers said.
Warner Home Video Tuesday released on Blu-ray and DVD the "Gone with the Wind 70th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition."
TCM is scheduled to screen the epic romance -- starring Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh and Leslie Howard -- Dec. 15, the anniversary of the film's premiere in Atlanta.
