David Legwand scored in the second round of the shootout Saturday to give the Nashville Predators a 4-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Legwand fired a wrist shot past Steve Mason, and Pekka Rinne then turned away Jakub Voracek's attempt to preserve the victory.

Legwand also had a goal and an assist in regulation for the Predators, who won their fifth in a row. Martin Erat and Jason Arnott also scored.

Rinne made 26 saves in the victory. Mason had 45 saves for Columbus.

Columbus had a pair of goals from R.J. Umberger in the first period. Anton Stralman tallied a goal and an assist.

Nashville took the lead in the second period on Erat's tip-in of a shot by Shea Webber. Columbus tied the game with 58 seconds to play in the period on Stralman's power-play goal.

The two goaltenders stood up to a flurry of 27 shots on goal -- 10 by Columbus and 17 by the Predators -- in the third period.
