U.S. country music singer Wynonna Judd says she and her mother Naomi will likely work together on musical efforts in 2010.
The younger Judd said after performing with her 63-year-old mother at the Country Music Association Music Festival in Nashville, she began mulling a possible reunion next year, Billboard.com reported Friday.
"It was huge," Wynonna Judd, 45, said of the CMA performance. "We sang for 50,000 people and they sang back to us and it was a holy moment. And on the drive home I thought, 'Y'know, I really appreciate where I've come from and the people do, too, and they love the Judds music and it hasn't disappeared.' I just thought, 'Y'know, I think it's time.'"
Wynonna Judd told Billboard.com while no 2010 plans with her mother have been finalized, she is hopeful something can be worked out. The duo split in 1991 after Naomi Judd contracted hepatitis C.
"It's take your mother to work year. It just feels like it's the right time; she'll be 64 in January, and I think it's time -- not the whole year, but it's just going to be a way to celebrate her," she said.
