Herley Industries has been selected to support a U.S. Navy electronic attack aircraft with its oscillator and integrated microwave assembly technologies.

U.S. company Herley, a microwave technology solutions developer, says its New Jersey-based Herley-CTI unit was selected for the production order by an undisclosed U.S.-based contractor.

Under the approximately $6.5 million deal, Herley will deliver its integrated microwave assembly and an oscillator systems for future integration in Navy aircraft.

"This award takes advantage of the heritage of Herley-CTI in manufacturing state-of-the-art frequency synthesis and frequency conversion product," Richard Poirier, chief executive officer and president, said in a statement.

"Herley-CTI has recently expanded its manufacturing and test facilities in support of these products as this program has transitioned into full rate production. We expect Herley-CTI to continue to be a valued partner on this program for years to come and look forward to additional annual awards over the next five years."
