Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York had approached NYC socialite Bryce Gruber to be the next new housewife for the third season of the hit show back in June. Gruber initially agreed to work on the show, but then backed down after negative press circulating her family’s role in Dannon Yogurt was published. Since then, rumors throughout have been swirling that Bravo approached Bryce Gruber to be on the show again, after they heard she has her own show in the works with another network.
Gruber refuses to comment on the reported offer of $125,000 per episode, but has issued a statement saying, “I would really rather not be involved with the Real Housewives show at this time.”
According to rumors, the network thought they could “buy” the socialite and entrepreneur, but Gruber is choosing not to comment on any offers or further talks with Bravo, or the Real Housewives of New York.
